Junior High Track Pictures will be after school Wednesday, April 20th. Athletes need to remember their track uniforms!!! Picture packets will go out Monday.

Class Pictures will be tomorrow, April 19th. Picture packets will come home with your child. This will be for grades K-7 and 9-11. Please call the office if you have any questions.

Our Joseph FFA Alumni will be hosting their annual dinner and auction April 29th. If you are interested in tickets please email chelcee.mansfield@staff.josephcharter.org or you can purchase them at the Sports Corral.

Due to weather conditions, Saturday’s High School Track Meet at Sherman County H.S. has been cancelled.

Reminder! The SAT will be given tomorrow, Wednesday April 13, for 11th graders who wish to take it. Testing will start at 8:30 am in the CTE classroom, and students should bring a calculator and number two pencils.

The first graders used different mediums to recreate their favorite scenes from the series Mercy Watson during library story time.

Thanks to volunteer Jake Layton, our JCS students learned how to build a fire to stay warm while building their survival shelters for our CAP class.

The April Joseph School District board meeting will be held at Imnaha School on Wednesday April 13th at 5:30 PM.

9th Grade Physical Science students have been studying waves. Here they are testing transmission of sound waves through different materials.

10th grade biology did some Biotechnology Research and Development- testing the efficacy of different sunscreens (including one that the chemistry students made.)

Custodian Joseph School District is seeking a full time permanent year round custodian for the rest of this year and beyond. Position will be 32-40 hours a week, located at Joseph Charter School. Help plan the new Joseph City Library!

The Junior High track meet, scheduled for Saturday, April 9th has been cancelled. There are no plans to reschedule at this time.

Do it over and over again, and you will be filled with joy.” -Buddha A day of our service trip to Los Barriles, Mexico was spent traveling to El Coro, a remote mountain village, to deliver food and supplies. We were also shown by local Rotarian Josefina, how villagers gather and store clean drinking water from their mountain streams.

“Time spent preserving nature is never time wasted.” -Anonymous One of the days spent in Los Barilles was dedicated to enjoying and learning about their fragile, yet diverse ecosystem. Students were able to learn from local students and instructors dedicated to preserving their natural resources. Paulina and her students shared their outdoor school program along with projects built by students after a morning spent snorkeling in the reefs.

Our JCS and WHS interact students spent time on our service trip to Los Barriles, Mexico to work with local clinics to provide schools with health screenings for many that do not have regular access to healthcare.

Joseph Rotary Interact club is on a service trip in Mexico! Today they screened over 300 kids at local schools for diabetes, blood pressure and vision. Thanks Maria Weer for sharing !!
